As China closed for CNY and staff started to go home, i received 2 STL files for the ‘NEW’ OO gauge class 92. Unfortunately due to a processing error by the engineer, they consisted of 3000 pieces when they should have been about 200. this means that due to the cost per piece per model i could not get it 3D printed for Stafford this coming weekend.

What i will do, is take some screen caps of the STL 3D model and put them on here on Friday and Print some up for display at Stafford show this weekend. I will also put them in the next newsletter which will be in a few weeks once CNY has finished and i have the cad/cam t do the pictures from.

There are a few minor issues with the cad so far (handrails the wrong shape for example) but the roof looks far better than the 3D printed model shown at shows this last year.

The N gauge class 92 cad/cam will follow shortly after CNY and i will send pictures from that in a further newsletter to all customers, then on this web site, as is my custom, around 2 weeks later.
