Pre-order / Expression of interest

Welcome to the ‘order’ page, which for the time being isn’t anything of the kind!
Please feel free to place your ‘order’ which will only be taken as an “expression of interest” and DJM will not treat it as a binding transaction.

However, once the product is available for distribution, I will mail you with a Paypal invoice for your choice or choices of product. This invoice can easily be cancelled by clicking the cancel button on the invoice request. I will be notified by Paypal that this is a cancellation and will remove all information about your ‘expression’ from my system.

Your ‘Expression of interest’ only becomes a binding transaction once you pay the invoice.

At no time will your details ever be passed to third parties, or held on file past the product available notification.

Many thanks
Dave

    Hello Dave,

How about Baby Deltics in green with full yellow fronts with either the old emblems or the arrows of indecision in the list?

Have credit card at the ready….

I wish to say I am really looking forward to the N gauge class 17 and I will be ordering one in due course. Just to ask though are you thinking about any steam locomotives in N gauge and where will you be putting the motor (tender or boiler) as I have a personal dislike for tender drives and or drive shafts through the cab. Glad to see another company on the market

      Hi Christopher,
      Thanks for the e-mail.
I understand your point, and I am always open to change. I’ve got a few ideas in mind for tender loco’s if I venture down that route in future.
      Cheers

Having access to a number of layouts; both my own and club ones, many of the locomotives set for production may be of interest to me. Do you intend to release all the models mentioned at once or is one or other of the models likely to appear first? Like so many there is a limit to my financial position when it comes to buying mdels I like.

Best of luck with this venture anyway.

      Hi John,
      Thanks for the mail.
Barring a miracle I can promise that there is no way I could, like you, afford all models to appear at once.
They will be staggered some months apart, so please don’t worry.
      Cheers

    Hello Dave.
This looks like the beginnings of a fantastic range of products. Really looking forward to the J94 in all scales. A long neglected model given the number of prototype variations produced. The Hornby model is a bit long in tooth now, and a high-spec version will no doubt sell very well. Please feel free to contact us, or if you are passing Taunton at any time, drop in and say hello, as we are always looking for new and exiting products to stock. I like your no-nonsense attitude to delivery schedules and production dates – what a refeshing change!
Thank you again for the announcement, and the very best of fortune with your venture!
    Regards,
    Alex.

Hi, quite excited about your new venture. I have ordered a ’17 and a ’17 double pack (powered + Dummy). The splurge doesn’t mention anything about these being DCC ready (if it does I missed it and apologise), but I assume they are?

    Hi Dave,

Good to see you’re doing the 59. Is there any chance of doing it in O gauge in the future?

    Cheers

      Hi Phil,

This project is just slightly delayed as I’m altering various parts of the release to keep the guys and girls at ‘Kickstarter’ happy.
Once approved in full by then I shall post a link here and on RMweb that will take you straight to the crowdsourcing page for the class71
      cheers

    Hi Dave,
I’m clearly well behind the times as I only just discovered your company!
I’m delighted to see a high quality 59 in the pipeline and will register my interest as soon as that becomes an option.
In the mean time, good luck with your products in development.

The class 71 electric its a very exciting choice of model, and one which I intend to order. Any chance of a Southern class 70 electric booster loco to keep it company?

      Hi Peter,

Thanks for the mail and I’m glad you will order one. Don’t forget the initial 1000 models are for those that sign up to this project and the livery/running number combination will not be re-used again by DJM.
As for a 70?I’ve committed to not announcing any more products until i’ve cleared these in about 24 months time, so keep an eye out around that time.
      Cheers

Hi Dave, I think you’ll be pleased to know that I’ve ended up pre-ordering 2 of your 00 Gauge Q6 0-8-0’s from Invicta Model Rail a few hours ago *#63395 & #2238*, I can’t wait to see how amazing they will look on my layout. I will fit sound decoders in both of them aswell :).

Any progress on the Q6 front, Dave? I’ve put my tick on an early crest, as I model my layout on the Coronation era (early 50’s). My old Nu-Cast ‘growler’ spends more time with the fitters these days.
    Cheers,

      Hi Alan,
      Thanks for the mail.

The Q6 moves along to a stage where I will release cad/cams for comments. I have a wealth of information on this loco and a great deal of ‘interesting’ ideas I can incorporate to give maximum detail and different loco’s.
      Cheers

    Dear Dave

Just a quick question to ask if the 59/2 will have etched plates or not (and if they can easily be removed) as I have one pre-ordered and if i can renumber and name them, I will pre-order another one (or two). 🙂

    regards,

Really looking forward to your N gauge stuff, GW mogul especially. I don’t suppose you’ve ever thought about an S&DJR 7f? Farish/Bachman don’t seem very interested in it!

    Hi Dave,
I believe I pre-ordered a 00J94-004 LNER 8023, but I have no order number or conformation number. Can you please check for me, it was over 3 years ago and with the “pending” release of some of the other J94 limited edition models I am growing concerned. Can you please advise ??
    Kindest Regards,
    Roy
